Default 1991 idle problem

I have a 1991 Camry and it runs fine when I'm just driving around town. When I run it at a high rate of speed for a while(1 hour+), and bring it down to a stop, It idles very low and rough. When it idles rough like this and i turn the car off, It has a hard time starting again and on the last occasion, when I did get it started, I drove it 35 ft to a stop sign, and the car just died. And all of the idiot lights came on.

Please Help!

I'd like to fix the problem but ive heard that it could be several different issues. I understand that its an old car but i dont want to start dumping money into it if i dont have a pretty good idea of what the problem is.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

V6 or 4 cylinder?

Might be the IAC valve needs cleaning. An internet search will turn up hits on cleaning the valve. Type in you engine model and the words cleaning IAC valve.

Thank you! I will definitely look into that. My car is a 4 cylinder.
