Default Cracked air intake hose tube lubricant?

I have a cracked air intake hose tube near the throttle body which I plan to replace with this replacement item. Is there anything I need to be aware of when disassembling this tube and is silicone grease the best lubricant for these rubber hoses?

Silicone works very well and does not degrade the hose material like regular grease might. Use silicone.

I was thinking of using this brand of Silicone Grease instead?

That's fine.

Most any type will do as in grease or liquid.

Apply the silicone grease sparingly. You don't want excessive lubricant entering the air intake system and potentially affecting the sensors or contaminating the air filter.
