Default What are the actually horsepower gains on a cold air intake for 94 Camry 2.2L
My nephew is looking to install an intake.

What are the actually HP gains he can expect?

id say 6 or less in actualwheel horsepower

It depends on the brand some do not help the performance much at all they just improve the sound

stock box is already cold air intake.

K&N states a 6+ hp gain at around 5500 rpm on their product. I doubt if you could tell the differance when driving.

^^ not really. I have K&N and i feel no difference.

there is little differance, the biggest improvement are throttle response and sound and what a sound it is.

The sound will be the only noticeable difference. Just get a K&N or TRD replacement filter.
