Default 2010 camry 2.5L 4cyl base model keyless entry?

Hi I'm trying to program keyless remote for my 2010 toyota Camry base model 2.5L 4cyl and it requires a software/ hand tool to program it. I have the toyota software but the remote wont program. Is there something I have to add like a module or something to get this to work?

Are you trying to program the remote or key?

Did the car come with keyless remote installed?

I already programmed the key and Im trying to program the remote. It didn't come with a remote it came with 2 master keys and 1 valet key. I have a key with remote on it and the key was a success with the hand tool/ software program but the remote wasn't. I even took it to a locksmith I know and we couldn't do it.

Remote locks is not listed as standard or as an option with the base model. The feature may not be installed in the car.

See similar threads listed below on this issue.

Can you provide more info on the software/hand tool used to program the key?
