Default 2012 camry

I’ve had my Camry 2 weeks tomorrow after having it checked at Firestone and already I’ve had to replace surpentine belt, put new brake pads on it and a caliper bolt that was missing.I replaced the spark plugs and am deep cleaning the interior because it was very nasty. It didn’t look too bad till I got it home and started cleaning it. now since I put the new belt on their it’s been having the cold start knock that is probably the camshaft timing gear. So I took it to my mechanic today and he said he’s going to check it in the morning. So I’ll see.

Default 2012 Toyota Camry LE Transmission (U760E) Shudder

Better search the forums for Transmission Shudder on this vehicle and get ahead of this issue. The car is probably already experiencing it and you just are not aware as it can be a very slight shudder that if you are not a mechanic you will probably not realize it has the issue. Check my other post to find more information.

Default Timing

I have read on other sites that this is a common problem. It was suggested that it is a timing issue. The Generation 7 does not have a timing belt but timing chains, and it needs an adjustment.
