2016 camry heater/ac blower stopped blowing...
for a few hours. But it came back on later and has been working since. This is my daughter's car who lives in Athens Ga and I live in Marietta. My question is should she take it in to Toyota or just wait and see if it goes out again? Does anyone have experience with this happening and have suggestions for what may have caused it and what she we should do about it. She drove it back from Nashville, TN after it came back on and it worked well. Thanks! J
No blower for heat or A/C either?
Any flashing light on climate system when blower not working?
Could be a bad blower motor. The motor speed is based on signal pulses from the control module. Not like the old days where a resistor was used to control RPM.
An issue is if the unit now works the dealer may not find any trouble codes. If the unit is not working when at the dealer it should make it much easier for them to find the problem.
Replacing a blower motor assembly is pretty easy and aftermarket parts are low cost. One could DIY.
Might check for obstructions in the blower fan. Remove the cabin filter, take a look as best one can.
