Hello all. New member here! Have a black 21 SE and love it. As part of the new car owning process I wanted to wax it like a normal car. Unfortunately, it seems like each product simply creates scratches and leaves an unattractive haze, regardless of how much buffing . Apparently Toyota put some type of protective coating on this car? I'm not sure but it does not seem to react to traditional wax products, clay bar, etc like a normal car. Anyone have any idea what could be going on? What is this finish that could be on the paint?
