Question 94 Camry LE - shudder when starting / changing gears

I have an 1994 Camry 2.2 LE with automatic transmission (166k miles).
When I accelerate from dead stop at normal speed car runs fine but when I accelerate fast or when starting an uphill climb, car starts with a shudder which stops in 2 seconds. Also, when going uphill car will shudder when changing from 1. to 2nd. gear.
I have recently replaced ATF fluid (the color and smell of old fluid was red-ish - normal) and the level of fluid is fine.
Also recently, I have changed spark plugs and wires and air filter.
Can any of you please advise on what might be the problem here?
Thank you!

I might have somewhat of the same problem.. I have a 93 camry with about 150k on it. I start going fine but when it goes to about 3rd gear I can only barly push the pedal or floor it. anywhere between that it's like it don't register as pushing the gas. My friend said it might be the fuel filter flooding the engine.. I don't know if that helps any.. I'm still working on the problem.
