Default 2002 Shudder when stopped

I have 2002 XLE 4cyl. 199,000 miles. Just this week I noticed that the car would shudder when stopped in trafic and while in drive. The shudder goes away when I put the car in neutral or park. I feel and hear the shudder in the center of the car and at first I thought it was the AC Fan. Any ideas on possible causes?

What is the RPM at idle and in gear, normal or lower?

Has the car had a tune up any time in its life?

How is the trans fluid, ever been changed?

Not sure of idle speed. It does not appear to idle faster or slower.
Tune up (plugs) performed at 180,000 miles, no issues with mileage or performance.
Changed transmission fluid at 120K. Fluid appears to be clear and full at temp.

AC fan? Have you checked the AC compressor in the engine compartment.

Is this a constant shutter or just when the AC comes on.

The shudder is there whetehr Ac is on or not. Only change is when car is moving or taken out of drive while stopped.

Keep in eye on the RPM. If in park or moving it may be slightly higher.
