98 Spoiler Brake light

98 Spoiler Brake light
Hello! I am new to this forum and have been hunting around for an answer to my question with no luck for some time now. Hope that will change here! The idiot light on my dash warning me of a brake light being out has been on for several months now. Every one of my tail lights works just fine, including the spoiler light. But, the spoiler brake light is very dim and a few of the LEDs have burned out. Did I mention this is a 1998 camry? Anyway, I believe this spoiler light must be my problem.. Anyone have any suggests as to what they think it might be? If it is the fact that the spoiler has a few LEDs out on it, where can I find a replacement board? Seems all i can find on the www are spoiler kits with the lights integrated! Dont' want to spend that kind of coin if I don't have to, but something is telling me Toyota thought those boards would last forever... Anyway, thanks in advance for any help or advice! Cheers!

RE: 98 Spoiler Brake light
did your camry come with that spoiler or do you still have an operating interior 3rd brake light?
also did you check to make sure that all the lights work even when you turn on your headlights? sometimes its simply a loose connection and wiggling a few bulbs around solves the issue.
and yeah i do think that toyota thought they'd last forever.
i actually have a brand new spoiler i want to sell but sorry i wont just sell the led light to you.

Thanks nodrogkam. It is the stock spoiler. There is no 3rd light in the back windsheild. Every light on the car works. With light on, head lights off. The damn thing is driving me nuts! I can't make the light stop! It is like the tell tale heart beating on my dashboard!
