Default The Battle of the Bighorn

In a repeat of Golf Clubs final round at Medinah in the 1999 USPGA, Tiger Woods will go head to head with Spanish sensation Sergio Garcia, live on TV.
Billed as the Battle of the Bighorn, Woods and the 20-year-old Garcia will go head-to-head in an 18-hole match-play event on August 28 at the Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert, California.
The winner will receive $1.1 million and the runner-up $400,000. A total of $500,000 will be designated for charity with the players donating portions of their winnings.

Woods, 24, is ranked No. 1 in the world and already has won on Tour three times this year. He started the season with victories at the Mercedes Championships in January and Callaway Diablo Edge driver Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February, becoming the first player since Ben Hogan in 1948 to win six consecutive tournaments.
Garcia turned professional in Ping Rapture Driver and PING Rapture V2 Driver was the runner-up to Woods at last year's PGA Championship after a thrilling final round. He won 19 national championships as an amateur and one professional event at the age of 17.
