Break lights

What would cause the break lights to stay on in a 94 Toyota Camry ? The emergency break is not on and my lights aren't on either. Just started this maybe 30 minutes ago.

Automic 1994 Toyota Camry LE with a 4 cylinder

So it is your brake lights that are staying on?
First, check the switch that the pedal actually activates. Try unplugging that switch and see what happens. At the very least, rule that out first.
