Hi all,

I already own a Camry for a little over a year, and I'm looking to buy a second one. Being in NJ, I've had to deal with a lot of issues due to my current being a high mileage car and the rust reigning strong in the Northeast - namely wheel bearings (had 3 replaced so far) and an odd spontaneous overheating, which caused me to have to replace the entire radiator.

What else would you look for/remedy in a newly purchased high mileage 07-11 Camry 4 cylinder?

PSA: will be purchasing the second one from the Georgia area where my friend lives, to avoid rust issues.

 

Read up on the 4 cylinder having separate issues of failing head bolt block threads and excessive oil consumption.
