Driver side window
The driver side window has play in it. When it is cracked open a tad and I close the door it makes a rattling noise like the glass is loose. According to the service tech this is normal and will happen inevitably due to wear and tear. This is a brand new Toyota and has done it from day one. I have not encountered this with any of the Camrys I have rented. Is this normal or should I have a concern regarding an expensive repair somewhere down the line.?
Is the car new and under warranty? Year of car?
Is the window rattling or something inside the door?
When window is slightly down grab at top and try to move it. Has happened the window regulator track is not tightly bolted down allowing movement when the window is not fully rolled up..
For what is "normal" ask at Toyotanation.com in your year of Camry. Someone will own the same car and tell you if it is "normal."
Note the dealer can define a problem as "normal" in order to not want to deal with it under warranty.
