First ever Toyota
Hey everyone! Well I've owned many different cars over the years, but oddly never a Toyota. That all changed yesterday when I was practically given a 1999 Camry Conquest V6 from an elderly neighbour who doesn't drive anymore and is moving into a retirement home.
They have owned the car since new, full Toyota service history, 130k klm's on the odo, always kept undercover, and has been babied it's whole life. It's a pretty basic car, with manual windows, but it's got airconditioning, tinted windows, security system, new battery, and a towbar. It goes without saying that it's the obligatory "old-person's red" and has steel wheels with hubcaps, so it's the ultimate sleeper, haha!
Asides from a full service and all fluids changed, it needs a good detail, there's a few minor scuffs on the paint in a couple of places so will get them seen to, book it in for a cut-n-polish, and that's really all it needs. I'll also be fitting a good quality sound system in the near future. The intention is to keep it immaculate and drive it once in a while.
I look forward to finding more information about these cars here on the forum!
