Hey, everyone!

So I just ended up getting a 1999 Camry LE yesterday, from my Grandpa, who had gotten it from my Nana. I'm pretty sure it's a 4 cyl, and it's been VERY well kept. However, it IS very much an old person car, due to the light beige exterior & tan inside, with towels covering the seats.

I'm a 21 year old nursing student, and I need to update it a little bit without it looking trashy. (No offense, but I can't do the whole Tweety or Tinkerbell thing.)

I guess what I'm getting at is that I want to update the inside without it being gawdy or ridiculously obvious that I'm 21. What are some modifications on the interior have you all found to be successful without being overpowering? I was thinking of trying to make my own seat covers that would be removable and washable.

Hi there ellem i'm mike and i'm new to the forums too. I'm from brooklyn NY. I also have a camry and so far it;s doing great. Haven't sent it for repairs yet. Hope we both enjoy our stay here in the forums. And welcome to both of us.
