New Camry owner with headlight question

Hi room, I am a 2008 Camry SE owner and i wanted to add Xenon or HID head lights and fogs, do I have to get a kit or can I just pull the old bulbs out and put the newer brighter ones in???? thanks for your time!!!!

You need an HID kit.

you can get brighter bulbs without the HID kit, but they will not be as bright or have a substantial difference over the stock ones. HID's is your best bet.
