The car is a new LE hybrid. I wouldn't ordinarily buy a new car, but the wife wanted new (she's never had a new car). The 2012 hybrid is a big improvement over the previous version, and I can justify the higher price for the better MPG's, CVT tranny, 200 hp. and electric motor acceleration from a stop. It really is a cool car in terms of that technology.
The only mod I can see making at this point is to see if I can get some fog lights to put in the holes with the ugly black plastic inserts in the front bumper. I didn't want to get the whole XLE package just to replace those inserts. Buying new was already a stretch on my "Mr. Cheap" sensibilities and budget
