Hi, I'm a new member with a question about my 2001 Camry. When I last tried to turn high beams on, I heard a pop noise and was not able to turn high beams on. Also, daytime running lights are out. Hope I'm posting this in the right area. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to CF.

Do you know what part of the car the "pop" originated from? Perhaps under the dash and if so left or right of the steering wheel?

Do all other electrical items work such as door locks, windows, the various warning chimes, etc?

Everything else works. Sounded like the pop came from right of steering column.
Some of the dash light do not work, but it's been that way for awhile now

The day time running light relay is located under the dash. Left of the center console and right of the steering wheel. Check this out.

Perhaps you can use your nose to smell for burning in the area.

Will do. Do you know what color the relay is? Is there more than one in that location?

See link below for location:

RELAY ASSY, RUNNING LIGHT for 2001 TOYOTA Camry. #8281006030

Look for signs of burning, a burn odor, etc. linking to electrical damage.

The relay is expensive. If needing a replacement, try Ebay, internet or auto salvage yards. Search by part number.
