Hi all,
I'm a proud owner of a 2006 Camry LE. I've owned for 1 year now and have done several things since owning it. When I bought it from a local owner, everything seemed fine. On the drive home the check engine light lit up. At home I checked the codes and there were quite a few.
First thing that I did was to order, and replace, the downstream O2 sensor. Corrected that problem.
Next, I ordered, and replaced, the front passenger side wheel hub and bearing. Corrected that problem.
Next, I ordered a set of rear struts. Corrected that problem.
A trip to the bone yard covered a bunch of cosmetic issues, including engine hood insulation, floor mats, and an auto darkening rear view mirror w/compass.
And lastly, I had to buy a new charcoal canister and replace the old one (what a job that was).
Not to mention ALL fluid changes and plugs.
The Camry has around 165 K miles on it and I love the car. My wife gets the new Corolla Hybrid, but I prefer my Camry.
Happy to be here.
