Hey guys, my name is John and I am new to the forum, but not to Toyotas.
My first car was a $500 corolla and it was one of the most worry free cars I have ever owned.
Probably the slowest and most uncomfortable car, but economical lol.
My focus for the past few years has been on modifying turbo front wheel drive volvos.
My black 2.4 turbo with my dad's xrs
My current daily driver
So I was thinking about a winter project..
An 87 or 88 camry with a 2zz gts motor/trans swap, slammed, deep dish wheels, tints, a nice fast little show car.
I have the space/skills to get it in, but obviously I will need some help along the way.
It seems most of you guys are into the newer camry's and really not focused on motor work, but we'll see.
I have to find the car first, the motor will be easy to find (already have a few friends with the celica gts's and their suppliers).
Let me know what you guys think, and if anyone has what I'm looking for: 87 or 88 camry, bad motor/trans is perfect.
Talk to you guys soon.
