Default New member help

Hello to the board. We had an 2002 XLE 4 cyl. with 102K and unfortunately my wife hydroplaned a week ago and totaled the vehicle. I have found an 07 XLE V6 with 48k miles, original owner for 18k. After doing some research I am concerned about the transmission, anyone here have a bad experience?

Thanks,

Mack

Is this the flare issue or some kind of internal failure you are concerned about?

Toyota has had a number computer updates that appear to solve much of the flare and shifting issues.

The issue happend earlier on in the vehicles life, so technically if it drives fine now, you should be OK. But I'd question why an 07 vehicle would have such high miles and a 2nd owner already. That's just my personal suspision. Although i know plenty of people who put 30K/yr. highway miles on their car, but they tend to keep their cars. haha.

and test drive the new camry first...you may not like it in comparison to your 2002.
