Default O2 window regulator issue

02 XLE Replaced the passenger side regulator w / after market regulator from 1A. Altho' the plastic tabs (attached to the window glass ) drop right into the regulator fittings on each end of the reg. channel, the fit up to the tabs is a fastener mismatch. The plastic tabs fit but the oem was a nut/bolt fit-up at either end of the top regulator channel, where as the aftermarket looks like it is designed for a different glass tab or there is a clip missing because there is no welded on nut on the ends of the regulator channel.

Am I forced to buy an oem @ triple the cost? Money is super tight or I'd simply do that.
I found web images that reveal the distinction that I can post or email, but I am rather miffed that I found nothing on google that deals with this and the 1A parts folks had no clue and simply refunded me.
Sure would love to know how to fit this up. The car is Japan made, not US, a distinction that may play a role. Any help would be appreciated.

Default 2002 Window Regulator

Hello,

Were you able to fix your problem? I have an 02 Japan made and I need to replace the driver's side window regulator. I want to know if the after market fits the car or I will need to go with the OEM. Thank you.

When shopping for aftermarket parts, look for a statement such as; for Japan built/made model.
