Hiya Hallie, I'm a new member in these forums myself, but I may have some advice for you here- ANY Camry in decent shape will drive smoothly, old or new. Mine is a 95 LE 4cyl, and has only 152,000 miles on it, a few dings, a few horrendous rusty gashes, burns in the interior, broken handles, etc.... but I love it! The nice thing about Toyota is that their CV joints tend to last as long as the engine, or longer. An older Camry won't exactly out-maneuver a Lotus, but the ride will be smooth. One exception- worn shocks and struts, which are expensive to replace, but can then be upgraded, giving a stiffer, sportier ride if you decide you would rather have that. Any Camry you choose, you win. Gotta love those odds!
