Default Interior car molds

How I get rid of car molds - a simple 7-step guide.

What you will need: mask and gloves, water-vinegar mix (1 vinegar:1 water ratio), vacuum cleaner, small brush.

Step 1: Let the car moisture dry off
Park your car under direct sunlight so the moisture inside can dry out under the heat. You might want to open all windows and doors, or even the sunroof to speed up the process.

Step 2: Remove the carpet to check if there are any molds under it.

Step 3: Wash the carpet. You can use pressurized water and detergent to kill all the molds building up in the carpet. Then, dry it throughoutly to avoid mold regrowing.

Step 4: Spray the water/vinegar mixture onto areas where you find molds. Let it sit for 15 - 20 minutes.

Step 5: Use a small brush to scrape off dead molds. You might want to use a toothbrush to easily access small corners.

Step 6: Vacuum clean the interior of your car.

Step 7: Put back the carpet inside the car

If you have any car selling intention, it is best to make sure there aren't any molds in your car.
