I’m looking for some advice on suspension repair for my car. The handling has been feeling a bit off lately, and I suspect there’s an issue with the shocks or struts. I’m hoping to tackle this repair myself, but I’m not sure where to start.

Can anyone recommend the best way to diagnose the problem and check for any damaged components? I’m fairly experienced with car maintenance but haven’t done suspension repair before.

Any tips on tools needed or common mistakes to avoid would be greatly appreciated

Tools depend on what the job is. What are you going to replace?

If looking for problems visually compare one of the cars suspension to the other.

 

What is the year and mileage or your Camry? Describe 'feeling off', sloppy steering? Lots of body roll in the corners?
