Hi
Have 1991 3s-fe Camary/ Appollo , Auto , fitted a Kenwood 2 din head unit, and want to find reverse wire for signal for reverse camera.
Or a wiring diagram.
Have google for a while with nothing positive.

What wire are you trying to tap into?

View the wiring to the back up lights. The wiring from the backup switch might be red/black or red/blue.

There is also a wire going to the gear indicator light on the dash. Backup light wire is red/black.

The Kenwood manual is not to clear. I thought the wire would be a power wire that goes to reverse light, therefore when I select reverse power would go to bulb. I found the wire to bulb is red / blue stripe. But if if find that color wire behind the kick panel on way to rear it has power all the time when ignition is on.

 

Red/blue was stated for US Camry station wagon. Don't know about Appollo.
