HI Guys my2001 camry's trac off light is blinking and my ABS light is on. I ran the codes at the dealership but they won't give me to much information on what I should do. The codes are:

C0273 - Open in ABS motor relay circut

C1223 - Malfunction in ABS control system

C1251 - Pump Motor is Locked / circut in pump motor

I need some advice on how I should go about fixing this.

hey gwar28 my name is larry and i joined this forum on july 2 2007.
im having the same problem . I have my abs, brake and trac lights on. they dontcome on every time i start my car but when it comes on it stays on until i shut the car off. im curious is your car no longer under warranty, is that why the dealer wont fix it???????? my problems started at about 74000 miles.

 

Sup guys. i just got a 2002 camry. 75k and my trac off light is on and my VSC is on. wtf

 

hey family guy i know your pain.. my car was under warranty so the dealer changed a few parts that cost over 2500 dollars.after i left the dealer the damn lights came on again.. i gave up so i brought it to afriend of mine.at the same time i developed a problem with my ignition swich once we changed the ignition switch the lights stopped coming on.. do yourself a favor dont take it to the dealer bring it to an electrical mechanic. the swich might have been causing a short or something. was that car in an accident check it out a faulty mechanic could have wired it wrong..

 

C0273 code indicates a problem with the ABS motor relay, circuit or power to it.

C1223 is a general fault code for the ABS.

C1251 indicates the ABS motor is not working properly during the self test.

Would suspect the issue is with the ABS motor relay or circuit.

The TRAC works with the ABS system. If a problem with the ABS the TRAC system will not work and turns off.
