Default 2017 Camry SE tire Size

Hello All, I have an OEM and tire size questions for the 2017 SE that I bought Used six months ago with 29,000 miles.
Three tires are Goodyear VIVA 3 ALL SEASON 225/50R17
the forth tire is a PRIMEWELL VALERA SPORT AS also 225/50R17.
All treads are very good but for the front driver's side is fair +
All of the tire stores and sites are calling for a 215/55R17
Was I given the wrong tire size?
Curious as to the original OEM brand and size...?
Unfortunately when the time comes I can only purchase two at a time, maybe only one!
What size and brand should I purchase. Some city, some highway, easy driving 10-12K per year.
Thank you!!

215/55-17 is the factory stock size thus the reason vendors may be recommending it, the 225 also works. As far as brands might check Tirerack.com that lists a host of tire brands plus buyer reviews.

If money is tight might consider used tires from auto parts salvage yards and used tire dealers. .

If you are getting just one or two tires get the same size as the other 2 or 3.

The Valera sport is a summer performance tire. Is this the tire that is in fair condition? The other tires are all season as in summer/winter tires.

Mixed tire can cause handling issues but this can be minor.

When mounting the tires, put the same brand/type on the front. These are the driven wheels and these tires should be similar on each side, plus these tires steer the car.

Thanks Joey! One of the 3 Goodyear is the fair condition.
What is your reasoning to to Not gradually transition to factory 215/55R17 over time?
Slight speed difference dropping from factory 55 to my current 50?

Would assume tire size is going to have an affect on handling.

If going to the larger size get two tires of the same size and put them on the same end of the car, front or rear
