Hi Camry fans. I am requesting your creativity to improve the ride of my 2000 Camry.Due to a medical condition in my neck, Ineed to put my driver side bucket seat on some kind of suspension system to reduce the impacts that my body is receiving from bumps and holes coming from the road. Here in Quebec, the roads are very bad. I just replaced the whole suspension with Monroe Sensa-Trac Quick Struts. Fyi, the new struts are providing the handling of a brand new car but do little in terms of added comfort. Now, short of acquiring a big Buick or any lounge type car, I need to try all I can to improve my ride.

Note: My father used to own a 1992 Camry and mentioned that the driver seat was mounted on some kind of suspension 'cradle'. If you have information on this, please post it since I could not find anything related to this installation.

I have a 92 camry and I don't think I have anything special in my seat. You can try going with an air bag suspension or have some custom airbags on your seats.

 

The seat should just bolt to the chassis. Make sure the car does not have side airbags located in the seat.
