Default Warping Rotors

I have a 1998 Camry with 191,000 miles on it. Every year for the last several years my mechanic has put on a set of front rotors (and turned them once) because they keep warping. He is now suggesting high performance, drilled rotors to help better disipate the heat. Has anyone else had this problem and are there any suggestions on a brand for these high performance, drilled rotors?

Thanks.

Default RE: Warping Rotors

mmm ... i suggest that u change ur mechanic [&:]

yeah ... u dont need to change them every year unless u are using a very cheap quality rotor or brake pads .. u can polish the rotorsfrom time to time if needed but not replacing them every year [:-]
drilled rotors are good along with compatible brake pads.
u can find them in www.summitracing.com am planning to go for it but that will be in my next stage of modification.

all the best
