Woosh woosh sound at low speed from tires
Hello,
I said in another post that I just bought a used 2005 Camry LE 2.2L.
I have hereanother question about tire sound.
At low speed around from 20 to 40 MPH, I hear "woosh woosh" sounds from tires (probably) as if I had a flat tire.
I think the sounds are coming from tires because when I pressgas pedalin Neutral or Parking, the engine sounds ok up to 3000rpm.
The sounds either disappears or not be heard at high speed 60~80 MPH.
The tires are about one and half years old.
My question is would thatresult froma problem in alignment or in tires.
Do I need to change tires or have alignment?
I do NOTfeel any streering wheel vibration during driving whether high or low speed.
I cannot distinguish the status of tires (whether they are normal or not).
BTW, the seller rotated tires in Nov and I rotated again to see if any difference in sounds but found no difference in such sounds.
Thanks a lot for any advice.

Suggest you inspect the tires for damage. A rock, nail, etc can also get stuck in the tread and cause noise with each tire revolution.
If an object has penetrated the tire don't puill it out as the hole may start to leak air unless your ready with the spare tire or near a tire repair store.

another possibility would be the prev owner incorrectly rotated the tires and the tires are feathering against the pavement- way more noticeable at slower speeds but not audible at highway speeds due to other extranious noises
Thanks for replies.
I replaced all four tires andthe sounds have gone and now it runs very smooth (^___^).
The problem was obviously tires, uneven tires and/or wrong rotation; I am not sure the exact cause though.
