Default 1997 drivers seat

My drivers seat motor work but the seat moves forward a few inches and then the right side stops and the seat seems to rack. All other functions with the motors work. Help!!

Would a manual seat and frame bolt in? Thanks

A manual seat would bolt in.

The seat is held in by 4 bolts, 1 at each end of the seat rail. Each bolt is under a plastic cover. The seat can be removed in 20 minutes or less. Make sure you unplug any wiring harness connections under the seat.

Once out you can view the bottom and perhaps determine what is binding. The alternative is to use a mirror and attempt to watch the action.

I would look for some thing blocking the gear/track. (penny-quarter) But I am 6"4' wife 5"3' seat gets a lot of back and forth.
