Default 2007 toyota camry v-6 a/c problem

I have a 2007 toyota camry xle with a a/c problem. I am getting hot air coming from the vents at all times. I know the a/c is working cause i put some gauges on it and also the lines under the hood are getting cold on the low side. And if i push the a/c button on you can see the gauges drop . Was wondering if anybody had this problem before.

Might try the Toyotanation website, more members.

The system has a built in diagnostic system. The Toyota dealer has their reader, not sure what aftermarket ones would also do the job.

My guess? is the air mix system is not working or if there is a control valve on the heater hose it is not turning off when AC is selected.

The service manual is not much help as it states to control/test the system via the reader/diagnostic tool and view the results on the screen.
