AM2 powers ign system, fuel injectors, ECU, plus a host of sensor.

The ign system has White/Red Orange/Black wiring.

The fuel injectors, etc Orange/Black wiring.

The ign circuit has a noise filter (condenser). The condenser can fail, shorting the wiring to ground. Check the noise filter for shorts. Location is drivers side of engine compartment upper strut tower mount facing the firewall.

The EFI fuse powers the fuel pump motor.

The Gauge fuse powers the fuel tank quantity sender.

If you think it is the fuel pump disconnect the harness plug then with ign off check for grounded harness wires.
