Coolant coming out overflow.

Coolant coming out overflow.
I have a 1991 Camry DX V6. It runs like a champ, but the radiator/cooling fan only runs if the AC is on. I tried to disconnect the sensor at the top of the radiator hose, but this did nothing (i was told it would cause the fan to run regardless). When the engine gets hot the AC cuts out (doesnt blow cold anymore) and the coolant runs out the overflow. Any ideas? Please help.

My info only goes back to 1992. The V6 used two water temp switches on the thermostat housing (#1 on top, #2 on the side), a continuity check would be better than pulling the connector. ECT #1 will show continuity only when cold. The problem could also/or be the fan relays of which on a 1992 there are 3. Usually the rad fan will only come on when needed, and that is usually in stop and go traffic, not on the highway. I think you need the entire system checked.
