2008 Toyota Solara w/Navigation and JBL
I have removed the Navigation radio from my car to put in a different model. There is a black 12 pin connector that I have not been able to identify that plugs into the back of the radio. This seems to be a common plug on most Toyotas (in addition to the Solara) pre 2009. Toyota's manuals have connector designations for all the other connectors to the radio except for this one. The only thing it shows is it listed as one of the ECU connectors but with no label. I have not found a layout that identify the connectors going into the radio, although I have matched them to the manual's connector designation.
The new radio seems to work without this connector hooked up to anything, but I would like to find out what this connector is for and what wires (12) are used. Anyone have information on this?
