Default Back up Camera advise

First post so be gentle...

Recently purchased a 2014 Camry SE w/no factory back up camera. I've researched some about what is out there to add this option so if y'all could help answer a few questions I'd be grateful.

1} It appears that my Camry is "pre-wired" to plug in a camera to the system. The one that I liked the most required drilling a hole out to the left of the Toyota emblem on the back to mount the camera. Is this the factory way that they are installed or is there a better way so I don't have to drill into the vehicle?

2} I would also like to be able to get the "build sheet". How could I get that?

Welcome to CF.

1) Toyota used different trunk lids for different car options. The backup camera option trunk lid had the holes already built into it.

Some aftermarket camera's route the wiring though an existing license plate lamp hole.

2) Unless the Toyota camera was an add on option available from the dealer, there is no build sheet.
