I find the audio display on my new 2012 Camry annoying and distracting, especially when listening to the radio. It flashes ads and information about what's playing. Is there a way make the screen go blank or at least very dim? I'd like to be able to turn off the home screen, as well. I try unsuccessfully to ignore it.

 

I agree. At night even with the brightness all the way down it is still too bright for me.

click the set up button / on the screen there should be a button on the bottom that says turn off screen.

I don't know if there is a setting for a screen time out. That is all I found.
