Lightbulb Adding Keyless Entry to 2012 Camry L

Hey Every1. Just yesterday my wife and I bought a new 2012 Camry L

I realize the L is the bottom line version down from the LE and lacks the automatic headlights, keyless entry, power driver seats.

Most of those added features I don't need except the keyless entry. Asking the salesman about this he said I would have to go for the LE model but we stuck with the L

I have a question, hopefully someone here may have a little experience with this.
-----------------------------------------------

I see that I can definitely add an aftermarket keyless entry system to my car such as BullDog or Viper for example..... but ......!

Is it possible to just add the stock OEM Toyota Keyless Entry System (transmitter, receiver, keyless entry keys, etc.) that comes stock on the LE and SE models... to my L model?

Im guessing toyota just removes the needed technical equipment to make the model a little cheaper. If I can buy the system separate and have it installed would be awesome. I would much rather just go with the stock OEM keyless entry then an aftermarket keyless entry system.

Thanks Much for any of your help. I appreciate it!

Toyota does not appear to offer a remote lock aftermarket product. Call the parts department at the dealer and ask if there is a aftermarket add on for your edition of car.

Default thanks

I went back to the dealership yesterday and talked to the salesmen. They swapped out vehicles for me and put me in an LE same color and everything for only $1170 more dollars.. :-)
