Replacing new headlight in Toyata Avesis

Angry Replacing new headlight in Toyata Avesis
Removed old headlight to my Toyota Avensis 5 door hatchback 2004 reg only to find there was a box shape still present behind where headlight was,but new headlight had 2 fin shaped prongs,which i couldnt work out how to fit together.Need help please.
