I have a 2000 Camry and the sunroof hasn't worked in 7 years.
I replaced the sunroof motor today and it instantly rolled down (woo-hoo!), but it will only rolls halfway back up. It doesn't even seem like it's trying.

Any ideas? Thanks!

 

after motor replacement the sunroof need re initialize in order to relearn where is the close or full open position. read your owners manual .
