The engine does not crank over when you turn the ign key to start?

Obtain one jumper cable. Clamp one end over the positive battery cable terminal and carefully touch the other to the electrical terminal on the starter solenoid that goes to the starter motor. If the engine cranks move the cable end to the other side of the solenoid and have someone turn ign key to start. If start motor works check battery cable going to the starter solenoid and starter relay circuit.

The small wire going to the solenoid should have 12 V DC when the ign key is turned to start.

Or does the engine crank but does not start? If so check for ign spark at the plug wires.
