Default How To Repair Interior Door Handle 98 Camry

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum so I hope I get everything right here as this is my first post.

Does anyone know where I could download a guide (with pictures, a must) on how to install a new drivers side interior door handle on a 98 Camry. Thank you so much for your help.

You need to install the 2 rods then install the clamps.

Insert handle and push it backward, install the screw.

The Autozone website may have this info in the vehicle repair guides.

I would suggest buying the cd version of the official shop manual (ebay)that shows pictures of the exploded diagram. Because your outside handle will soon crack at the seam too. I had to to do mine, that's how I know... Good luck

Thanks vanagonrabbit, that's a great idea and exactly what I am going to do. I see they have one for my 96 Lexus ES300 as well. Have a pleasant evening.
