I have a 2009 Camry Hybrid. The trunk lock mechanism has frozen (definitely the mechanism and not just the cable) I figured I would remove the back seat and seat back and get into the trunk that way. I removed the seat and unbolted the seat back but when I try to lift the back up it wont go, I think because the seat back locks are still engaged (THis may be because the key happens to be in valet mode).

Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

The seat locks appear to be manually set.

is the key not rotating in the lock or did the rod fall off?
