use a double ended box wrench and get a piece of hex material the same size as the other end of wrench and then attach socket and torque wrench to that. Use nut from a turnbuckle maybe?

Thx Garbear, I'll try that. Haven't been able to work on it as it's outside and we've had crappy weather.
