Default Toyota camry-all electric stopped working inside car

Hello, my sister has a toyota camry and not sure what model it is, but maybe around 1996 model. Well saturday she was driving it and the a/c air compressor locked up and before long the car would only turn over and not start but has alot of juice in the battery. Also all electric inside car quit working including power windows and all gauges. Can anyone help with might be wrong with the electric stuff ? Maybe a certain fuss or something ? Thanks charlesh

4 or 6 cylinder?

The compressor locked up as in froze? The compressor has a magnetic clutch that engages the the actually pump. Is the clutch disengaging?

Hello, the a/c compressor is froze up, locked up, it will not turn and the belt has to slide over the pully. Is there anyway to get it to dis-engage ? And if you might know. Is there a main electic fuss that would keep the power windows and gagues from working ? It all happen at the same time. Thanks CHARLESH

Does the pulley rotate when the electrical power is off. The clutch on the pulley is magnetic and needs DC power to engage. If the clutch is now frozen and will not disengage someone will need to replace it.

If you need to drive to a repair shop remove the belt to the pulley. The engine should start. However the alternator will no longer be working and you will only be able to drive guessing 60 minutes before the battery goes dead. Thus plan to go directly to the repair shop.

Suggest you start checking fuses, appears to be more then one. There is also a fuse box behind the drivers side ash try, lower left corner of dash.
