Trunk Latch Override?
Hi All,
I have a 2008 Toyota Camry SE 2.4L 4-cyl
I know on some of the newer cars that Toyota is manufacturing they have a button to override the key fob from opening the trunk.
The trunk latch was broken and I replaced it, reconnected everything, but the solenoid is not firing to release the trunk through the key fob. I have double checked the valet feature and the trunk opens fine with the manual release in the cabin and with the key when I insert it into the trunk.
Is there some kind of manual override that I am missing, or does the solenoid need to be replaced.
Thank you,
