2002 speedometer stuck
Hi, My speedometer is stuck all the way to the right. It also had a rough time starting.
I have a 2002 v6 camry se. I checked the battery and it was fine. I saw a similar post in 2007 but there was no solution.
Please let me know if you can think of a solution.
Thanks,
Karl

RE: 2002 speedometer stuck
I had the same problem this morning! I have a 2002, 4 cyl., SE. I replaced the battery last night and ten minutes into the drive this morning, the engine starts to idle rough and stalls. It restarted, but stalled at idle, could keep it running by revving in neutral. Speedometer also pegged itself at 140 at the same time. After a few minutes, I smacked the dash a few times and the speedo returned to normal. Rough idling problem disappearedjust as I drove into the lotof my mechanic. They cleaned the throttle body (dirty) and said they can't get it to idle roughly.
This was the first time in two years of ownership that the battery was disconnected.
