Default 93 V6 starts then dies everytime

Hi my name is Matt. I bought a 93 V6 manual transmission camry with a bad engine. I went to the wrecking yard and bought an engine that I heard run. It ran great. I installed the engine. Now when I start the car it will run for 2 seconds and die everytime. I checked and it is loosing power to the fuel pump. I have checked the efi fuse and the efi relay and the circuit opening relay and they all test good. I have replaced the coil and ignitor with and all the parts I have checked already with the ones from the car that the engine came out of. If I put power to the fuel pump it runs great. I am assumimg that the cam sensor is in the distributor. It came out of the running car from the wrecking yard also. I have checked all the plugins about 5 times now. I am at a loss as to where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appriciated. thank you in advance.

update on vehicle. I put in a new distributor and swapped off the throttle body from the old engine as this vahicle is a manual transmission and the engine came from an automatic vehicle. It is still doing the same thing. starts up and runs a couple of seconds and then losses power to the fuel pump. Any help out there? This is for sure a fuel delivery problem. It is all controlled by relays and the ecm.

I have a vx wagon that more or less does the same thing since I bought it 2 years ago. I have lived with the problem but it would be nice to fix it once and for all. The only clue I was given was possibly a faulty crank angle sensor.

easy spark test - paper clip - straighten half - put in lead number one and tape the lead so that the paper clip end is 12mm from engine earth - if there is not a big spark across 11mm then there won't be one on the spark plug

need to work out if it is ignition or fuel - or take to a mechanic
